LINE is a rehearsal and memorization tool for actors, built by LINE Media, LLC. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
LINE is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not collect or store your personal information on any server. Your scripts and audio stay on your iPhone. The only external processing is Apple's speech recognition during rehearsal and anonymous usage analytics via TelemetryDeck — neither can identify you.

All core features of LINE — including PDF parsing, text extraction, and script formatting — are performed entirely on your device. No script content is sent to our servers or any third-party service.
LINE uses your device's microphone to power the scene partner rehearsal feature. Microphone audio is used only during active rehearsal and is not recorded or stored by LINE. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your device's Settings.
During rehearsal, LINE uses Apple's Speech Recognition framework to transcribe your spoken lines. This processing is handled by Apple and may involve transmitting audio to Apple's servers, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. LINE does not store or have access to the audio sent to Apple — only the resulting text is used, in real time, to advance the scene.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, or have access to your payment information, billing address, or Apple ID.
LINE uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to collect anonymous usage signals. TelemetryDeck is designed so that individual users cannot be identified — identifiers are double-hashed before leaving your device, and TelemetryDeck itself cannot reverse them to identify you.
The signals collected are limited to aggregate app usage patterns (such as feature usage and session counts) and do not include script content, audio, or personal information.

LINE is not directed at children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information from any users, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Because LINE does not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. All app data resides on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you retain all rights afforded to you under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA). If you have questions about how these rights apply to LINE, please contact us.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where practical, notify you through the app. Continued use of LINE after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
